Sunset Sound + Rooftop Yoga (ALL Levels) at the Liberatory Loft in Washington, DC
This is a focused small group dual session of sound and yoga. Each session is 30 min, running concurrently, so everyone gets to experience each session socially distantly. There are only 10 spots for this boutique holistic wellness pop-up experience! Register now! ***You will be expected to be wearing a mask upon entry and must sanitize your hands at entry. A door host will greet you to explain COVID19 safety precautions, supply you with a mask(if needed), assure you have hand sanitized and will take your temperature before you are allowed beyond the entryway. Hand sanitizer will be well supplied throughout your experience…use it liberally, and appropriately.

Meet your Hosts:
Dez – Founder/CEO of SolFlowers Holistic Apothecarium & Social Health Movement, career health care and business administrator, holistic wellness champion, creative and Renaissance Womxn. With a lifelong passion to become a physician and healer, Dez started SolFlowers to address the various gaps in the US healthcare system that leave BIPOC, LGBTQI and other marginalized populations further at a disadvantage in wellness and quality of life. It is their passion to bring about awareness of whole person wellness to effect changes in lifestyle that positively influence quality of life, healing processes and overall well being. They are an aspiring herbalist, naturopath, sex educator & coach and tantric practitioner.
Star – A certified special education teacher for students with social and emotional needs and also a health teacher for the state of Maryland for over 10 years. Seven years ago she began to implement mindfulness into her class. Recently she took her love for yoga to the next level and became a certified yoga instructor. She now writes yoga and mindfulness curriculum for her school district and has been the Yoga & Mindfulness coordinator for her high school for the past 3 years. Star specializes in Yin yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Children’s yoga for special needs and Rocket yoga. Within the past year she has decided to create body and home products as a way to connect all the senses through mindfulness and yoga. Some of her products are scented candles, body lotions, and lip balms. All her products are created with natural products and with the intention to please your senses. Star provides in-home services, virtual services, school/camp services, corporate services she also creates workshops specifically tailored to what you need. Please don’t hesitate to ask I know she’ll be glad to work with you. As she always says, “Creating the best quality of life together!" Star supports BIPOC representation in holistic wellness and is donating her portion of the proceeds to training a 2,000 Black Yogis and increasing Black & Brown visibility in yoga and other wellness spaces: https://www.blmrocketyoga.com/.
Anu – Well known in the DC/Baltimore metro area as Chef Green, CEO of Anu Green Experience and The Wellness House, LLC started her vegan/vegetarian/raw food career and sustainable clothing brand in 2011. She noted the correlation between nutrition and disease and felt compelled to help members of her family heal themselves through whole foods and herbs. She went on to offer juice detoxes and healthy meal plans to others outside of her family to enhance their vitality, health and overall well being through food. Green expertly crafts nutritious balanced whole foods that are aromatic and delicious. To add more healing properties to her offerings Anu has been studying and honing her soundbyte frequency practice using crystal bowls. She attunes plants and foods to their optimal energetic frequency to work more cohesively with your body and digestion. She also attunes human frequencies using sound and crystals.
Liberatory Loft – A place of enjoying what social justice provides us! The Liberatory Loft is all about liberation supporting black joy, LGBTQI visibility and sex+body positivity; and does not tolerate -isms or -phobias against humanity in this space. This is an exclusive, private space in DC that hosts small community centered events.
